May You Always Have Positive Thoughts

May every day of your life bring you fresh hopes for tomorrow – because hope gives all of us our reason for trying.

May each new day bring a feeling of excitement, joy, and a wonderful sense of expectation. Expect the best, and you’ll get it.

May you find peace in simple things, because those are the ones that will always be there.

May you remember the good times and forget the sorrow and pain, for the good times will remind you of how special your life has been.

May you experience all the good things in life – the happiness of realizing your dreams, the joy of feeling worthwhile, and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve succeeded.

May you find warmth in others, expressions of love and kindness, smiles that encourage you and friends who are loyal and honest.

May you realize the importance of patience and accept others for what they are.  With understanding and love, you’ll find the good in every heart.

May you have faith in others and the ability to be vulnerable.  Open your heart and really share the miracle of love and intimacy.
Above all, may you always have positive thoughts.

Free Online Course With TESDA

I came across the TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) site and here is the newest offer that they have for all Pinoys regardless of location...

"The TESDA Online Program (TOP) aims to make technical education more accessible to Filipino Citizens through the use of internet technology. It provides a more effective and efficient way to deliver technical education and skills development services to the majority with less cost and more reach."

All you need to do is to register a valid email address and you should be all set to study online. An OFW will be able to get their certificate after taking an exam in TESDA once you go back in the Philippines. For those who will be taking up an online course anywhere in the Philippines, all you need to do is to drop by any nearest TESDA branch in your area and you should be able to take an exam with them.

This is a great opportunity for those out-of-school youth and for those who are unable to afford going to college.

Here is where you can sign up!

Register HERE as a new account using your NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS, if you currently don't have one, you may sign up using Gmail.

For a complete list of courses available ONLINE, please go to TESDA website.

Letting Go...

We recently had a death in the family, my Cousin. He was not as close to me as before but since he arrived here in the Philippines last year, it has been a meaningful encounter everyday we get to talk.

With his passing, I have realized a whole lot of things in life and about life.

This is one of the last days that I have before we totally turn his rented house over to the owner and disposing his things was not as tough as I thought it would be.

So why am I writing this? 'Cause I have learned vital things in life like:

"Condolence" is a 10 letter word but has a different meaning when it comes from a friend

That you never should attach yourself to material things but instead to people around you who loves you unconditionally

That you will never be happy knowing that you have stepped on someone else

That true friend will be with you to comfort you in difficult times, not only when they need you

That you will never be able to take anything with you when you die, not even a single cent.

That no matter how many times people will cry for your loss, you will always be remembered by how many times you made them laugh, cry and shared secrets.

That we do not know when our time will be up, so it will be best to show love for those who needs it most and for those who needs it less.

Having many friends is an advantage but in difficult times, try not to expect for you to avoid getting hurt. I may not be perfect but at least I know I am true, to the best of my knowledge. I am a bit disappointed with some friends but I figured out that there are still people who appreciates me and the things that I do for the family... I will always dwell on the happy things in my life rather than live in a sea of misery cause what is important is what is in one's heart... truest of true...

Goodbye Kuya Butch... rest in Peace...
